Mr. Anthony Jose Stewart was called home on May 27th 2011 to claim his seat at the foot of his Father's throne.
Born October 10, 1959, in Harford County Maryland, he was one of four children born to the union of William and Mary Stewart, Sr. of Darlington Maryland. Anthony received his education in the Harford County Public School System and later attended a trade school in Street, Maryland specializing in small engine repair. In his youth he was an avid outdoorsman and loved being a member of the local Cub Scout troops. Whenever his health allowed he enjoyed spending his leisure hours fixing and collection cars, traveling, fishing, listening to music and dancing. Although illness permeated his body for many years, Jose fought with courage, strength, dignity and determination. Over the years he frequented several different nursing facilities and was dubbed "The King" by the nursing staff.
Loved one's who preceded him in death, father, William Stewart Sr.; sister Alberta Ingram; and nephew Rynele Stewart. He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Mary Stewart; brother William Stewart Jr. (Barbara); sister Deborah Jackson (James); brother in-law Ransom Ingram Sr.; 3 nieces, Nicole Ingram, Clover Macon, and Ebony Stewart; 5 nephews, William Stewart III, Roderick Stewart, Ransom Ingram Jr., Stoney Johnson, and Marcus Johnson; 8 great nieces; 2 great nephews and a host of other family and friends. Special thanks to Mr. Irvin "Gene" Cevis for his unwavering commitment and support to Anthony over the years.
