Terry Lee Dove, 68, of Atchison, KS died Sunday, June 09, 2013 at the Atchison Hospital.

Memorial services will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 12th, 2013 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Hendon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Atchison, KS. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 11th, 2013 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home. Terry was born on Feb. 2, 1945 in Horton, Kansas the son of Henry Frank and Margaret Rose (White) Dove. He moved to Atchison as a young boy and graduated from Atchison High School in 1964. He graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Radiological Technology in St. Joseph, MO.He worked as a Registered Radiological Technician for the St. Joseph Hospital, St. Joseph, Mo and for over 32 years at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Leavenworth. KS. He was the head radiological supervisor at the VAMC when he retired in Aug. 2005. Terry was a member of the First Christian Church. He enjoyed playing the slots at the casino, fishing, gardening, and raising flowers. He was good with his hands building an addition to their home, and finding things to do in the yard. He especially enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his children and grandchildren in Branson, MO.

He was married to Mary Anna Graner on Oct. 15, 1967 at the Camp Creek United Methodist Church. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include: a son: Travis (Emily) Dove, Sherwood, Ark., two daughters: Misty Miller, St. Joseph, MO., and Kylee (Charlie) Kottman, Atchison, KS., four brothers: Henry Dove, Victoria, TX., Don Dove, Atchison, KS., Ron Dove, Hemet, CA., and twin brother: Jerry Dove, Topeka, KS., eight grandchildren and one great grandchild and his dog-Molly. His parents preceded him in death.
