Stephen H. Kinley, 95, of 16 Mockingbird Lane, Mill Hall, passed away at his home Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
He was born in Lock Haven on September 21, 1917, the son of the late Stephen and Eliza Miller Kinley.
In 1942 he married the former Edith Geraldine Barner, who preceded him in death in 2008.
He worked at the Lock Haven Silk Mill, Lock Haven Armature Plant and Hammermill Paper Company before working for Piper Aircraft where he retired from in 1979 after 29 years of service.
He enjoyed shooting rifle and bow and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to sing and enjoyed socializing and talking with people.
He is survived by a son, Stephen E. (Gloria J.) Kinley of Mill Hall; three daughters, Rebecca (James) Tomaini, Carol (Arthur) Dapp and Betty (Larry) Sonnie, all of Mill Hall; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
