Robert “Bob” E. Todd, 85, of Terre Haute passed away March 11, 2012 in Union Hospital. Bob was born May 9, 1926 in West Terre Haute to William Todd and Charity DePriest Todd. He was a small business owner, owning a tavern, restaurant, and laundry service in his earlier years. He was both a World War II and Korean war veteran. He was a member of the German Oberlander Club, VFW Post 972, and the Isaac Walton League of America. He was an avid sports fan, loving the St. Louis Cardinals, IU basketball, and the Indianapolis Colts. He was most of all a family man, spending many hours of his life surrounded by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; William and Henry, five sisters; Ola May, Rose Margaret, Emma, Violet, and Joann. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cecilia Kutch Todd. Four sons; Donald Smock and his wife Loralee, Joseph Smock and his wife Connie, Bud Todd, and John Todd. One sister; Mary Andrews. Seventeen grandchildren; Michelle, Jennifer, Kelly, Donny, Charlotte, Shon, Kim, Susan, Jessica, Johnny, Brittany, Bridgette, James, Victoria, Christian, Buddy, and Cecilia, as well 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11:00 until service time at Greiner Funeral Home 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana with Rev. Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on March 14, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
