Obituary:

Coeymans- John N. "Jack" Beaudin- 80 of Coeymans, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Albany Medical Center on Thursday, January 6, 2012.

Jack was born in Albany, NY on April 18, 1931 to the late Harry and Anna (Soulier) Beaudin. Jack lived in Rensselaer and East Greenbush for most of his life. He was a Veteran of the Inchon Landing, Chosin Reservoir and participated in the recapture of Seoul. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the National Chapter and the N.E. New York chapter of the Chosin Few. Jack had worked as Plant Supervisor for Metroplitan Petroleum.

Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years Doreen Kennedy Beaudin, his sons, John (Chip), Bryan and Bruce Beaudin, his brother Harry H. Beaudin Jr. (Elizabeth) and his brother-in-law and partner in crime Francis Donohue.

Loving father of Susan (David) Messenger, Mickey (Keith) Colville, Lee (Rick) Fiorino and Lyn Cramer.

Cherished Pa to his 10 grandchildren, Kimberly (Sean) Nava, Christopher (Stacy) Messenger, Allison, Jennifer and John Colville, Matthew and Sarah Fiorino, and Alex, Timothy and Sean Cramer.

Brother-in-law of Kathleen Donohue, Uncle of William Beaudin, Colleen Williams and Dawn Baumann.

Special family members Norm (Jean) Preston and family, Terri, Mark, Shawn and Kris Heller and his wonderful Caretaker Bonnie Nava.

He was an avid fan of the New York Giants. He enjoyed reading and traveling.

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of VA Homebound Program, the Albany Medical Center Emergency Room, C6 and Surgical ICU.

Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Tuesday morning at 8:30 and 9:30 at the Church of St. Mary at Clinton Heights where the Liturgy of Christian Death and burial will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
