BRETTLE (RINHOLM) " Delores Irene passed away peacefully on May 9, 2007 at City Hospital in Saskatoon, surrounded by her children. She was born in Birch Hills on July 19, 1931 and went to Heatherdale School, was one year at Birch Hills High School and graduated from Hagen High School when she lived in Fenton. Delores married Carl Rinholm on September 3, 1951 and together they had five children. Along with raising her children she also worked at Craigs, Woolco and at The Drapery Shoppe. Carl passed away November 1978. Delores met and married Stan Brettle on July 5, 1980 and they retired to Candle Lake in December of 1989, returning to Prince Albert in the summer of 1998. Delores loved playing cards, quilting, craft sales, watching baseball and curling. She was a member of the Parkland Seniors, Leisure Learners, Ladies Aide " Messiah ELW and a volunteer at the Prince Albert Co-operative Community Clinic. Delores lived in Prince Albert, Craik, Milestone, Nipawin, Sturgis and Candle Lake; in all these places she made many friends. Delores is survived by her children: daughter Betty (Richard) Grynoch and their children Davey Thompson (Julian Forest), Tess and Donald; daughter Carol (Wayne) Gill and their children Carlee (Linden Smail), Carynne McBeath, Mel (Mark) Williams; daughter Sherry McKay; son Rod Rinholm and his children Alek, Kyle and Tristan; daughter Arlene (Greg) Switenky and their children Erin and James; great grandchildren Jaiden and Kyla Smail; her brother Lyle (Mary) Bird from England. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends. Delores was predeceased by her husbands Carl Rinholm and Stan Brettle and her parents Edna and Hector Bird. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Messiah Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dan Haugen officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes donations can be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church or to a charity of donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Marianne Turcotte, Funeral Director.
