Thelma Farmer, 85, of Ennis passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, in Tyler. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randall McCollum officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Nolan Young, Charles Williams, Jay Lee, Justin Lee, Richard Roberson and Larry Murphy. Mrs. Farmer was born Nov. 10, 1919, in Navarro County. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Farmer; parents, Parther and Effie Anderson; sister, Janie Coker; and brothers, Buford Anderson and Raymond Anderson. Survivors include special friend, Randall McCollum of Ennis; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Buddy Williamson of Tyler; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or Tabernacle Baptist Church.
