Failed to connect to MySQL: Too many connections
Mary Ann Melnyk, 62, of Francis Farmer Apts., Brighton Township, formerly of Hopewell Twp., was ushered into heaven on Tuesday, November 9, 2010.
Born May 3, 1948, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Glenn and Anna (Conkle) Devitt. Raised in Frankfort Springs, Mary Ann was a devout woman of Christian faith and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Beaver. Like the patron saint of animals, St. Francis of Assisi, Mary Ann adored canines and felines.
She leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Kathy Mountain and her husband, Bryan, and their son, Bryan Jr. Sonny of Hookstown; a sister, Helen (Gary Greber) Gerace of Dormont; a nephew, J. Davis and a great-niece, Jessica, and great-nephew, Michael.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, where prayers will be offered Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 200 Third Street, Beaver.
Interment will follow in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown.
