Cathy Marie Poull, daughter of the late Benny Deckard and Twila Yvonne (George) Lemaster, was born May 16, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, where she grew up and attended school.

On March 12, 1974, Cathy was united in marriage to John Poull in Columbus, Ohio. Cathys brother, Randy Deckard introduced Cathy to John while John was in the United States Army. They shared over 30 years of marriage together and were blessed with four beautiful children: John, Dorothy, Samantha and Nicole.

After John was discharged from the Army in 1978, he and Cathy moved their family to Dixon, Missouri where they made their home for the next 26 years. Cathy worked for a country caf where she made a host of friends. She was full of life and especially enjoyed the times that she could spend with her children and grandchildren.

Cathy was diagnosed with a serious illness that resulted in her hospitalization. She lost her battle with this illness and passed away the morning of May 22, 2004 in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center at the age of 47 years and 6 days. She was surrounded by her family who deeply mourn their loss.

Cathy will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by her husband, John of the home; one son: John Joseph Lazar of Richland; three daughters: Dorothy Marie Brown and her husband, Terry of Waynesville, Samantha Viola Moore and her husband, David of Dixon and Nicole Dawn Poull of the home; one sister: Lisa Didelotte of Vinton, Ohio; four brothers: Ricky Deckard of Chillicothe, Ohio, Randy Deckard of Patriot, Ohio, Rocky Deckard of Eloy, Arizona and Craig Lemaster of Oak Hill, Ohio; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her grandmother and one brother.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 27, 2004 in the Waynesville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Breeden officiating. The songs "Wantin & Havin It All, "Wine into Water, "Ill Be Missing You, "Blue Eyes Cryin in the Rain, "Bird on a Wire and "Tie a Yellow Ribbon on the Old Oak Tree were played. Services were under the direction of Waynesville Memorial Chapel.
