Mr. Chuck DeLoach, 34, of 302 Plywood Street, entered into eternal rest on February 7, 2009, after a long battle with cancer, at the Lexington Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2009, at The Brice W. Herndon& Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Muller and the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery.

Chuck was born March 14, 1974 in Hampton and was the son of Charles Aiken DeLoach, Jr. and Libby Jones Breitenbaugh. Chuck married his sweetheart of fourteen years Jessica Cotterman on September 24, 2005 at Edisto Beach. He was safety director and purchasing agent with Elliott Sawmill and was a partner with his father in DeLoach Auto Sales in Hampton. He was a member of West End Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing and his passion was drag racing.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Jessica, are two daughters, Alexis Brooke DeLoach and Emily Elizabeth DeLoach of the home; his father, Charles A. DeLoach, Jr. of Hampton; his mother and step father, Libby J. Breitenbaugh and Pete of Irmo; sister, Amanda DeLoach Brown and husband, Gabe and their children, Connor, Caroline and Parker of Spartanburg; brother, Alex Barcelo and his son, Hayden of Irmo; his paternal grandmother, Beatrice C. DeLoach of Hampton; aunts and uncles, Paula and Hammie Smith of Columbia, Frankie and Brenda Jones of Yulee, FL, Roma and Johnny Muller of Lexington, Alice and Sandy Sales of Aiken and Krissie and Broadus Taylor of Leesville; and many cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents, C. Aiken DeLoach, Sr., Oscar F. Jones and Barbara Harter Thode.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the many friends, family and medical staff for their love, prayers and support during his illness.
